Results from FreeRice.com Competition!

 As a whole, the METRO district generated a total of 1,657,000 grains of rice through the website (an average of 53,451 per club), which equals 75 POUNDS of rice! Way to go! Here's what the top 5 clubs were able to contribute:

1. Mercyhurst = 299,470   (Prize: free pizza party!)

2. Temple = 297,800
3. USP = 263,510             (Great job! We'll win next time!)

4. Millersville = 159,010
5. PSU = 152,390

March of Dimes

Help March of Dimes raise money for prevention of premature births, birth defects, and infant mortality.

Where: In front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art

When: Registration starts at 8am. Walk until you're tired.

What: Walk up to 6 miles on the Ben Franklin Parkway.You can stop at the 3 mile mark and take a bus back, if you are tired.

Get some fresh air and enjoy a beautiful scenic view, while raising money for mothers and their newborn babies around the world!
